It’s really bothering me all this attention Australia is getting while here in Brazil the situation is just as bad and nobody cares. I don’t see all these awareness posts. Or 10 million reblogs when a post does show up. Or people even mentioning it. Are people in Australia better? Do they matter more? Are they especial in any way?

This has been a really tough fucking few weeks. Many of my friends are still trapped by flood waters, supply routes have been cut off, we’re all worried about infected water supplies (there was an e coli break in another town) and of course, it’s not over yet. And we’re the lucky ones. Please keep us in your thoughts. The clean up is going to be massive. Queensland needs all of the support it can get.
